The expandable modular steel structure factory is a prefabricated industrial building designed to support phased construction and gradual capacity expansion. Built on a national-standard portal frame system, it reserves span connection interfaces that ordinary factories lack, enabling Phase I and Phase II construction. The building can be extended in both length and width later without large-scale demolition — an ideal solution for enterprises with phased investment plans and growing production capacity.
Light-frame steel construction hangars, prefabricated steel structure factory buildings, workshops, and warehouses.
A pre-engineered steel building is a modern construction method in which the complete design is carried out at the factory, and the building components are delivered to the site and assembled there. All connections are bolted — no welding is required on site.
An efficiently designed pre-engineered building can be up to 30% lighter than conventional steel buildings. Lower weight means less steel consumption and potential cost savings in the structural framework.

Main load-bearing frame: Q345B (S355JR) H-section steel columns and roof main beams. Purlins use Q235B (S235JR) hot-dip galvanized Z/C steel. Main steel members are automatic submerged arc welded, sandblasted, and coated with multi-layer anti-corrosion paint. A complete bracing system ensures structural stability. The enclosure system can select A1 fireproof rock wool sandwich panels and flame-retardant color steel sheets with a roof waterproof sealing system. The floor can be ordinary concrete or a wear-resistant floor, and a crane foundation can be equipped on demand. Standard connecting joints are reserved at the building ends for later span extension.
- Modular reserved expansion interfaces. New spans can be added later to extend the factory without demolishing the original main structure, greatly reducing reconstruction costs for capacity expansion. The overall structural calculation meets wind, seismic, and equipment load requirements.
- Basic single span of 10–24 m, eave height of 5–10 m. The wide interior space allows flexible production line layout.
- Factory-prefabricated components bolted on site. Phase I can be completed and put into production quickly. Phase II expansion takes a short time without interrupting the original workshop's operation.
- Optional systems. Daylighting belts, ventilation louvers, and fire protection systems are optional. Crane beams, mezzanines, and auxiliary office rooms can be added as required.
- Fire-code compliance. Enclosure panels comply with industrial fire codes to pass fire inspection.
- Easy disassembly. Steel components can be reused if the enterprise relocates, reducing construction waste.
Phased-construction production bases, reserved-expansion workshops for small and medium manufacturers, standardized general factories in industrial parks, agricultural processing workshops, and light-industry assembly workshops. Suitable for enterprises requiring phased investment and future capacity expansion.
The expandable steel factory reserves standardized expansion joints on the basis of ordinary workshops to support phased construction and low-cost later capacity expansion. It retains the fast construction and large-space advantages of steel buildings. Components can be disassembled and reused to reduce upfront lump-sum investment, making it an ideal industrial building solution for phased expansion projects.
As a professional steel structure solution provider, we deliver a full-cycle, one-stop service covering every phase from initial inquiry to final project completion, supporting your project with reliable efficiency and professional expertise.
We hold full engineering qualifications, including the professional contracting qualification for steel structure engineering and the construction work safety permit, and have established three standardized management systems: ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
Our full product portfolio — steel structure buildings, modular light steel houses, and container houses — has all been tested and verified by authoritative third-party institutions. The scope covers UL certification, CE certification, Australian certification for rock wool, certifications for fiber cement boards and glass wool, as well as core performance indicators including structural mechanics, fire and corrosion resistance, thermal and acoustic insulation, waterproof sealing, and fatigue life, strictly complying with national building codes and industry standards.
For export products, we have obtained a full set of international certifications such as EU CE and EN 1090, which fully adapt to the engineering requirements and trade regulations of all regions worldwide, providing all-round guarantees for compliant project delivery and consistent quality.
Upon receiving your project requirements, our engineering team will provide feedback on drawing approval within 24 hours. We assign a dedicated specialist for 1-on-1 consultation to fully understand your project specifications, local construction codes, and budget expectations. Our team will tailor the structural design, optimize material usage, and propose the most cost-effective solution that perfectly fits your actual needs.

Yes, it is professionally designed for crane installation. We can customize 5–50 ton overhead crane systems with reserved crane beams, load-bearing structures, and installation positions. The whole structure is calculated and reinforced according to long-term hoisting and vibration working conditions, suitable for heavy machinery assembly and processing.
The main columns, main beams, and crane beams adopt national-standard Q355B high-strength H-section steel for heavy load bearing. Roof and wall purlins adopt Q235 hot-dip galvanized Z/C steel. All main components undergo automatic welding, sandblasting derusting, and multi-layer anti-corrosion coating to ensure structural stability under long-term production vibration.
With professional anti-rust and anti-corrosion coating and complete structural protection, the standardized industrial steel workshop has a service life of more than 50 years, with low daily maintenance cost and stable long-term production performance.
It is widely applied in machinery manufacturing, hardware processing, new energy, equipment assembly, building materials, light industry, food processing, electronic precision manufacturing, heavy-duty crane workshops, and industrial production parks.
